Positive Christian Singles
Positive Christian Singles (PCS) meet every Monday night at 6 p.m. in the Oak Street Center for dinner ($8.00) and a program. Members of PCS also get together for Sunday brunches and Friday night dinners at local restaurants, Tuesday coffee talks, dance lessons, movie nights, game nights, service projects, a monthly dance, bowling, walking on the Walnut Street Bridge, and lots of other activities. They host an annual Christmas party for residents of a nursing home and an Easter party for children in First-Centenary’s Inner City Ministry. Activities are listed in the monthly PCS newsletter.
Many of us have not chosen to be single at this stage in our life, and sometimes it is difficult to feel comfortable anywhere. We welcome your participation! If you continue to come and be involved, you will find friends who will be there to comfort you, laugh with you, and listen to you. If you do not have a church home, we invite you to visit us Sunday morning for worship and Sunday School.
PCS members are single, committed Christians seeking others who are in the process of learning to live as Christ would have us do in a contemporary world. We support, encourage, and share our triumphs and tragedies with one another. We pray, play, and minister to one another and the entire community.
