El Día de Alegría
March 3, 2018 - THIS Saturday!
This Saturday from 9:00am to 12:30pm First Centenary is hosting a special event for the Hispanic community! The event will consist of two worship sessions - each with a different praise team leading the music and pastor delivering the message (an interpreter will translate the messages into Spanish) so that visitors can get a taste of what First-Centenary is like. There will be snacks, coffee, and a meal provided.
We, as a youth group, have been encouraged to attend so that our youth can connect with other youth in the Hispanic community. A lot of the kids attending will probably go to the same schools as our youth and we want to be as welcoming as possible to them! We also are asking people to bring old clothes they don't wear anymore to donate to this event. If you have any clothes you wish to donate, we ask that you bring them in a bag that is labeled with the size of the clothing and the age and gender the clothing is meant for.
If you are planning to attend, please let us know! Also, we would like for people to get there around 8:30 am, if possible, so that they can introduce themselves to other youth and even offer to sit with them during the event! Families are welcome to attend as well!!
