Select an angel ornament with the Christmas gift wish of an Inner City Ministry child.  Angels will be on trees November 29.

Morning Worship the four Sundays of Advent will prepare us for the coming of Christ.
8:30 & 10:45 in the Nave and 10:45 in the Vine.

Wednesday, December 2

   6:00 p.m.  Advent Wreath Making.  Dinner by reservation at 5:15 p.m.  Cost: $20 per wreath.

   2 - 5 p.m.  Christmas Kid’s Day Out

Sunday, December 6 

  4:00  p.m.  A Festival of Lessons and Carols - Based on the traditional Kings College service, the story of Jesus’ birth is told in scripture, carols and music by our singers, handbells and brass. Inner-City Angel Tree Gifts will be collected.

Wednesday, December 9

   5:15 p.m.  Dinner by reservation at 5:15 p.m.
   6:00 p.m.  For the church family:  Oak Street Playhouse will present a special performance
                        of A Bad Year for Tomatoes

Sunday, December 13

   6:30 p.m.  Festival of Lights at Rock City Gardens  (Meet at the ticket booth)
After touring the gardens you are invited to warm up with hot cocoa and cookies at the home of Ansley and Mary Grey Moses, 1602 Lula Lake Road, Lookout Mountain.Sponsored by the Children’s Council.  Questions call 756-2021. 

Tuesday, December 15

   7:30 p.m.  Celebrating their 25th anniversary, Choral Arts of Chattanooga presents Visions of Christmas Past and Present.  (Tickets $15 in advance or at the door)  Call 877-7050 for details.

Thursday, December 17

   4:00 p.m. Children’s Enrichment Center Christmas Program in the Oak Street Center.

Saturday, December 19

         Noon  Luncheon and Christmas Communion Service for members and guests with special needs.

Sunday, December 20

The children will present a Christmas Pageant in 10:45 worship in the Nave and the Vine.   Children come dressed as their favorite character from the Nativity.  Questions - children@fcumc.org.

Thursday, December 24 Christmas Eve

   5:00 p.m.  Candlelight Communion Service.   Music will begin at 4:45 p.m.
 11:00 p.m.  Candlelight Communion Service.
                        Music by The Chancel Choir and soloists will begin at 10:30 p.m.
