If you are interested in learning more about how you and First-Centenary can benefit from a gift to the Permanent Endowment Fund, please call Karen Gates @ 756-2021 or send her an e-mail.

Permanent Endowment

The First-Centenary Permanent Endowment Fund has been established to provide members and friends an opportunity to make charitable gifts to the church that will become a permanent endowment of financial support.

The Endowment Fund is intended for purposes that are beyond the church's budget and the regular giving of its members.  Only earnings on the Permanent Endowment Fund are used for the designated purposes.

Giving such a gift is an act of love and an effective way to continue your support of First-Centenary.  Since the fund is permanent, your gift will keep on giving, even after you are no longer here.

This is a way of ensuring that First-Centenary will continue to function effectively and allows you to be a part of the church now and in the future.

How will you designate your gift?

For special needs and ministries as determined by the church leadership.

  • BUILDING - for care, major maintenance, improvements, and construction of physical facilities
  • MISSION - for mission in and beyond the local church community.

Will your investment be safe?

Yes, the fund is professionally managed by the Holston Conference Foundation, along with approved investment advisers.  This program is sponsored and encouraged by the Holston Conference as a way for local churches to ensure long-term financial support.
