Director of Congregational Development
Debbie Donohue
Debbie has been a member of First-Centenary since 1983 and on staff since 2005. She grew up in Portsmouth, Virginia and Birmingham, Alabama. She attended Auburn University for three years, then finished her undergraduate degree and did graduate work at University of Alabama in Birmingham. She is a former elementary school and preschool teacher.
She and her husband Jerry have one adult daughter, Lindsay, who lives in Chattanooga and teaches at East Hamilton High School. Debbie loves to read and also enjoys gardening and swimming. She volunteers as an education docent and Backstage Pass Tour leader at the Tennessee Aquarium.
