Mission Statement
The mission of the Inner City Ministry of First-Centenary is to follow the example of Christ by sharing his ideals with children and their families in the Chattanooga community. Through educational, physical, social, spiritual, and work programs, we help these children and their families build self-esteem, cultivate self-discipline, develop better communication skills and respect for others. We celebrate the diversity and dignity of all people and strive to create an atmosphere for racial reconciliation to occur. |

Educational Development
Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding. Proverbs 3:13
Getting things done is not always what is most important. There is a value in allowing others to learn, even if the task is not accomplished as quickly, efficiently, or effectively. (R. D. Clyde)
